Delegations of New Source Performance Standards (NSPS) and National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) in Washington

The below tables list the part 60 NSPS, part 61 NESHAP and part 63 NESHAP delegated from EPA Region 10 to:

  • Benton Clean Air Agency (BCAA) - effective date of delegation is January 24, 2018.
  • Washington Department of Ecology (Ecology) - effective date of delegation is January 24, 2018.
  • Northwest Clean Air Agency (NWCAA) - effective date of delegation is October 18, 2023.
  • Olympic Region Clean Air Agency (ORCAA) - effective date of delegation is July 1, 2023.
  • Puget Sound Clean Air Agency (PSCAA) - effective date of delegation is July 1, 2023.
  • Southwest Clean Air Agency (SWCAA) - effective date of delegation is September 1, 2022.

Note that there are no recent delegations of NESHAP and NSPS to the Spokane Regional Clean Air Agency (SRCAA) or the Yakima Regional Clean Air Agency (YRCAA). EPA remains the authority for these standards in Spokane and Yakima Counties.
