Training Material on Notification Under the Hazardous Waste Generators Academic Laboratories Rule
EPA developed this guidance for use when an eligible academic laboratory is trying to figure out what the notification requirements are under the Academic Labs Rule found in title 40 of the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) in part 262 subpart K) and when filling out the Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA) Subtitle C Site Identification Form (EPA Form 8700-12) to obtain an EPA identification number.
