Santiago Creek Dam and Reservoir Project
Population Served by Project: 200,000
Project Description
The Santiago Creek Dam and Reservoir Project will replace the Santiago Creek Reservoir dam outlet tower and spillway to reduce downstream hazard risk as required by a California Department of Water Resources dam inspection. The project will also increase the maximum operating water surface level and increase storage capacity. By completing this project, Serrano Water District will provide resiliency to extreme weather events, increased water supply reliability, protection of local habitats, and compliance with regulatory requirements.
