Project Description
The South Sioux City Wastewater Treatment Facility Expansion Project will nearly double the facility’s maximum monthly capacity and allow it to accept domestic flows. The City of South Sioux City will purchase and modernize a renewable energy production plant for future use. Additionally, this project will improve affordability by minimizing increases in sewer rates for rate payers, generate renewable natural gas, and promote economic growth for the City of South Sioux City and regional industries.
