Stiles Wastewater Treatment Facility Solids Processing Upgrades
Population Served by Project: 400,000
Project Description
The Stiles Wastewater Treatment Facility Solids Processing Upgrades project will improve solids processing facilities. The upgrades will accommodate current and future loads, add anaerobic digestion capacity and effectiveness, improve dewatering performance, and increase digester gas handling reliability. Additionally, this project will provide more storage capacity accommodating up to 2-year, 24-hour wet weather events. This project will help the City of Memphis meet its near-term and long-term biosolids management goals, including increasing capacity and performance, upgrading aging infrastructure, and managing solids disposal.
