Volume 1 - Introduction
This document provides an introduction to the ten volumes of the Emissions Inventory Improvement Program (EIIP) materials. These volumes provide standard procedures for calculating air emissions data with targeted quality objectives using cost effective approaches, but in some cases have become outdated.
“Volume 1 – Introduction” describes the overall approach used to develop the EIIP materials. It also has sections that explain how to use the EIIP guidance, approaches for training inventory staff, inventory planning, inventory development, and inventory documentation and reporting.
