General Air Quality Permit for New or Modified Minor Source Gasoline Dispensing Facilities in Indian Country within California

On September 30, 2016, EPA proposed a draft general permit under the Clean Air Act Federal Indian Country Minor New Source Review (NSR) program for gasoline dispensing facilities (GDFs), such as gas stations, located in Indian country within the geographical boundaries of California.

This action proposes to establish a uniform set of requirements, based on local air quality conditions, and streamline the EPA’s permitting of gas stations, and other GDFs, that construct or modify in Indian country within California.

The public comment period closed January 31, 2017. EPA is currently reviewing the comments received.

Information supporting the EPA’s proposal is available through the online docket.
