Stimson Lumber Company Non-Title V Air Permit
This page contains documents related to EPA's issuance of a non-Title V air quality operating permit to Stimson Lumber Company for its lumber mill located in Plummer, Idaho on the Coeur d'Alene Reservation. The non-Title V permit limits hazardous air pollutants (HAP) annual emissions to less than 9 tons of any one HAP and to less than 24 tons of all HAP combined, making it an area (non-major) source of HAP. As an area source of HAP, National Emissions Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAP) applicable to boilers and lumber dry kilns at major sources of HAP do not apply to the facility. The permit was issued July 1, 2021 and supersedes the original permit issued September 28, 2007.
The non-Title V permit is one of two air quality permits held by the facility. See also EPA's Title V permit for Stimson Lumber Company.
