Materials Available: SeqAPASS Virtual Training
The Sequence Alignment to Predict Across Species Susceptibility (SeqAPASS) Tool uses publicly available protein sequence and structure information to examine species similarities and differences to better understand the effects of chemicals on non-target species. SeqAPASS is a fast, online screening tool that allows researchers and regulators to extrapolate toxicity information across species. Learn more about SeqAPASS.
This training featured an overview of SeqAPASS’s purpose and scope, a demonstration of SeqAPASS’s functionality, a question-and-answer session, and an opportunity to work through a SeqAPASS case study with a group moderator.

This Webinar, recorded June 27, 2024 provides an overview of the Chemical Transformation Simulator (CTS). The CCTS is a web-based tool for predicting transformation pathways and physicochemical properties of organic chemicals. CTS predictions can address data gaps associated with chemical registration and assessment, support alternative assessment activities for manufactured chemicals, and help identify transformation products detected during nontargeted analysis of environmental samples. Furthermore, CTS can be used as a parameterization tool for more complex exposure assessment models for environmental fate, transport, bioaccumulation, and dose estimation.
