Outreach and Events
Facilitating information exchange on cost-effective methane emissions reduction technologies and practices is a core mission of the Natural Gas STAR and Methane Challenge Programs. The Programs host a series of Technology Transfer Workshops, Implementation Workshops, and Webinars to further this goal.

Methane Challenge and Natural Gas STAR partners, in all segments, are invited to attend this workshop that will bring together oil and natural gas experts, researchers, academics and other industry stakeholders to discuss voluntary methane emission reductions and ongoing developments.

2nd Annual AGA-EPA Natural Gas STAR/Methane Challenge Renewable Natural Gas Workshop & Exhibit
Fort Worth, TX - October 23, 2018
This workshop took place at the Omni Forth Worth Hotel in Fort Worth, Texas, in conjunction with the AGA 2018 Operations Section Fall Committee Meetings. The workshop was hosted by EPA’s Natural Gas STAR and Methane Challenge Programs, in collaboration with the American Gas Association (AGA).
