The 2023 NEI includes air emissions sources of both criteria and hazardous air pollutants, and data are available for many facilities and county totals. The Emissions Inventory System (EIS) helps the EPA to build the NEI.

The 2023 NEI inventory year is in progress and will not be published until March of 2026.
