 Background

EPA is hosting two public hearings, pursuant to 40 CFR 49.157(c), to provide the public with opportunity to provide oral or written comments on the draft synthetic Tribal Minor New Source Review permit for Navajo Transitional Energy Company (NTEC) Energy Generation Plant, Farmington, New Mexico. The public hearings will be held in-person from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm MDT. EPA staff will not be able to answer questions at the public hearings.

In-person public information sessions will be held before each hearing from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm MDT. EPA staff will be able to answer questions at this time. EPA will not be accepting comments on the draft permit during the informational sessions. Comments may be submitted verbally or in writing at either public hearing.
