Participatory Science Work at State, Tribal, and Local Environmental Agencies
This series of documents, prepared for EPA by the Environmental Law Institute, describes participatory science work at state, tribal and local environmental agencies. These documents include a set of 15 case studies of how participatory science (previously called citizen science) approaches are used in environmental agencies, a summary of best practices for operating programs, and strategic steps that can be taken to better support the use of participatory science for environmental decision-making.
