The Extended Drinking Water Monitoring Plan (EDWM) analyte list includes the fuel system icing inhibitor 2-(2-Methoxyethoxy)-Ethanol (also known as 2-2MEE, diethylene glycol monomethyl ether, or DiEGME). The other additives in JP-5, such as 2,6-Di-tert-butyl-4- methylphenol (antioxidant) and linoleic acid dimers (corrosion inhibitor), were not included in the EDWM analyte list or the extended 119 analyte list that EPA has reported. Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner is not an additive to JP-5 and is a cleaning agent that was used to clean Adit 3 after the November 2021 release. Primary components of Simple Green All Purpose Cleaner were not targeted as EDWM analytes.
