When will the Navy complete the 2023 ACO requirement to inspect, maintain, and clean the Join Base Pearl Harbor-Hickam public water system water storage tanks?

The 2023 ACO required the Navy to complete the inspection, maintenance and cleaning of the public water systems water storage tanks by February 28, 2023. The Navy requested two extensions for the Camp Smith water storage tanks – the latter of which was approved by EPA on June 5, 2024, for a new compliance deadline of May 1, 2030. The Navy also requested three extension deadlines for the Red Hill water storage tanks – the latter of which was approved by EPA on December 18, 2025, for the new compliance deadline of July 17, 2026.
