Stefanie Covino is the Program Manager of the Blackstone Watershed Collaborative. The Collaborative is the product of two years of public engagement to determine the needs of the Blackstone community, which extends from Worcester, Massachusetts to Pawtucket, Rhode Island. Stef spoke with us about the Collaborative's mission, as well as how the Program is working closely with SNEP and the SNEP Network to fully realize its goals for the region. Stewardship Mapping: SNEP Chat with Curt Spalding and Bryce DuBois on "Stew Mapping" - 11/02/2020

On this episode of SNEP Chat, we talk with former EPA Region 1 Administrator, Curt Spalding, who is now Professor of the Practice of Environment and Society at Brown University; and Bryce DuBois, an environmental psychologist and Assistant Professor at the Rhode Island School of Design about their joint “stewardship mapping” project, also known as Stew Map. In this issue, Curt also discusses a few key events that led to the foundation of the Southeast New England Program (SNEP) during his time at EPA and Bryce teaches us how steward mapping can benefit local communities. This effort is currently ongoing in the SNEP region and is still in the data collection phase.
