Detailed Project Information

Description: The Don't Litter Lotts project is a an on-going litter prevention program that promotes public education and outreach, volunteer opportunities, water quality monitoring, data collection and analysis and fosters community partnerships with different entities.

Project Partners: City of Statesboro, Keep Statesboro Bulloch Beautiful and Osprey Initiative

Current Project Outcomes: To date: 300+ lbs trash, 100 volunteers, 3 interns

Long-Term Project Outcomes: Water quality improvements, community beautification, public outreach and citizen science opportunities.
