This document provides technical documentation of biogenic source emissions estimation as a part of the ten volumes of the Emissions Inventory Improvement Program (EIIP) materials. These volumes provide standard procedures for calculating air emissions data with targeted quality objectives using cost effective approaches, but in some cases have become outdated.
“Volume 5 – Biogenic Sources Preferred Methods” provides a reference for estimating emissions from lightning and oil and gas seeps. Section 3.1 in this document is outdated and replaced by newer information using the latest version of the Biogenic Emission Inventory SystemYou may need a PDF reader to view some of the files on this page.
