    On October 11, 2024, EPA finalized alternative recycling criteria for ignitable refrigerants under Resource Conservation and Recovery Act authority.

  • EPA Proposes Rule to Reduce Open Burning and Open Detonation of Waste Explosives

    On March 20, EPA proposed amendments to the existing regulatory requirements for how facilities must evaluate and use alternative technologies for treating waste explosives and proposes new technical standards for OB/OD units designed to further protect communities.
