Superfund Interest Rates
Funds maintained in the Hazardous Substance Superfund Trust Fund are invested by Treasury in U.S. Market Based Securities. Treasury’s Bureau of Fiscal Services uses the yield to maturity effective at the time of purchase of these securities to calculate the Superfund Interest Rate each fiscal year. Superfund Interest Rates links the interest rates from 1980 to the present.
