Request Technical Assistance

Through EPA’s SWIFT initiative, drinking water, wastewater, and stormwater utility owners and operators will receive one-on-one, no-cost technical assistance using SWIFT’s tools and resources, including the Resilient Strategies Guide and Hazard Maps. 

During the technical assistance process, water sector utilities will be guided through a process to:

  • Better understand their potential risk to threats from natural hazards;
  • Identify potential adaptive measures to become more resilient to those threats;
  • Perform risk assessments to prioritize those potential adaptive measures; and/or
  • Identify potential funding sources for implementation of those potential adaptive measures.
