Fact Sheets on the 2024 Emissions Reduction and Reclamation (ER&R) Final Rule
This page contains fact sheets for specific requirements under the 2024 ER&R final rule published on October 11, 2024 (89 FR 82682). The rule establishes regulatory requirements to minimize the release of hydrofluorocarbons (HFCs) and certain substitutes from equipment (e.g., air conditioning and refrigeration appliances) and to maximize the amount of HFCs reclaimed. EPA may publish additional topic-specific fact sheets related to the 2024 ER&R final rule in the future.
