EPA Notice of Funding Opportunity (NOFO) Clauses

These additional provisions apply to competitive grant funding opportunities and awards including, but not limited to, confidential business information, contracts and subawards under grants, proposal assistance and communications, reporting and use of information concerning recipient integrity and performance, unique entity identifier (UEI), and administrative capability. Applicants must review them when preparing applications relating to EPA grant funding opportunities.

Prior versions of the clauses are archived and posted on this page. The clauses applicable to a specific funding opportunity are based on the version of the clauses in effect as of the closing date.   It is possible they will be updated during the open period before the solicitation is closed; therefore, to ensure that applicants are  aware of the most current version of the clauses applicable to the solicitation they are applying to they should periodically check this page to see if the clauses applicable to their solicitation have been updated.

For Solicitations that Close on or After January 21, 2025

  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2025/01/21) : Applies to solicitations that close on or after January 21, 2025.

Archived Clauses

  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2024/11/22): Applies to solicitations that close between after November 22, 2024 and January 20, 2025.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2024/10/01): Applies to solicitations that close between October 1, 2024 and November 21, 2024.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2024/06/14): Applies to solicitations that close between June 14, 2024 and September 30, 2024 inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2024/03/05): Applies to solicitations that close between March 5, 2024 and June 13, inclusive. 
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2023/12/15): Applies to solicitations that close between December 15, 2023 and March 4, 2024 inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2023/11/01): Applies to solicitations that close between November 1, 2023 and December 14, 2023 inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2023/05/10): Applies to solicitations that close between May 10, 2023 and October 31, 2023 inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2023/04/12): Applies to solicitations that close between April 12, 2023 and May 9, 2023 inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2023/01/24): Applies to solicitations that close between January 24th, 2023 and April 11, 2023 inclusive. 
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2022/10/06):  Applies to solicitations that close between October 6, 2022 and January 23, 2023, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2022/06/06):  Applies to solicitations that close between June 6, 2022 and October 5, 2022, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2022/04/14):  Applies to solicitations that close between April 14, 2022 and June 5, 2022, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2021/12/03):  Applies to solicitations that close between December 3, 2021 and April 13, 2022, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2021/11/09):  Applies to solicitations that close between November 9, 2021 and December 2, 2021, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2021/02/17):  Applies to solicitations that close between February 17, 2021 and November 8, 2021, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2021/02/05):  Applies to solicitations that close between February 5, 2021 and February 16, 2021, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2020/12/29):  Applies to solicitations that close between December 29, 2020 and February 4, 2021, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2020/12/16):  Applies to solicitations that close between December 16, 2020 and December 28, 2020, inclusive.
  • EPA Solicitation Clauses (2020/11/25): Applies to solicitations that close on or before December 15, 2020.
