3. Communication to address public perception

  • Addressing public perception with medical professionals: The Santa Clara County Medical Association’s Bulletin on Water and Health, an output of Action 8.6.
  • A list of water reuse and advanced water treatment training resources, an output of Action 9.2.
  • Two fact sheets about a 2019 EPA rule banning healthcare facilities and reverse distributors from flushing hazardous waste pharmaceuticals for general audiences and for Publicly Owned Treatment Works receiving discharges from industrial users (Action 2.9).
