2015 FGC Award Winners

In 2014, more than 400 participating facilities, representing nearly 1.3 million federal employees, "walked the talk" in various target areas (Waste, Electronics, Purchasing, Water, Energy and/or Transportation) and reduced their environmental footprint, which in many cases also resulted in significant cost savings.

EPA recognized the following facilities for their outstanding efforts in 2014 to advance sustainability efforts and for their leadership in reducing the environmental footprint of federal government activities.

National Awardees

2014 Results: -390,000 tons waste from landfills; -80M gallons water; Avoid purchase 15,000 lbs paper; Fleet travel down 12.3M miles; -107M cu. ft. natural gas; 457 tons electronics recycled. Comb. Efforts = Est. Cost Savings of $24M to U.S. Taxpayers
