Green Power Communities List

Below is a list of the current Green Power Communities recognized by EPA. EPA tracks and reports the Green Power Communities collective green power use and green power percentage of total electricity use. Users can resort the list using these same two categories: total green power usage and percentage of green power used.

As of the end of calendar year 2020, EPA recognized 100 EPA Green Power Communities across 14 states and DC collectively more than 8.4 billion kilowatt-hours (kWh) of green power annually by way of local government, business and residential use of green power.

EPA updates the Green Power Community list quarterly, along with its other Top Partner lists.
