The Top 30 Local Government list represents the largest green power users among local government partners within the Green Power Partnership. The combined green power use of these organizations amounts to nearly 4.3 billion kilowatt-hours annually, which is equivalent to the electricity use of nearly 395,000 average American homes annually.
Using 100 percent renewable energy is not only good for our community and the environment, it furthers Evanston’s goal of being the most livable city in America.
