State of the U.S. Voluntary Green Power Market

On February 23, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s (EPA) Green Power Partnership (GPP) hosted its annual webinar, focusing on trends in the voluntary green power market, with updated information from 2020. Market experts from the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) and EPA discussed the status of the voluntary green power market and new GPP data visualization tools. This webinar featured 2020 trends and discussion of green power sales and participation, utility green pricing trends, COVID impacts on marketing strategies, REC prices, and grid value.
