Enabling Solar Across the Supply Chain: REI’s Initiative to Expand Access and Drive Local Impact

In this webinar, U.S. EPA’s Green Power Partnership showcased how organizations can work with their supply chain partners to procure locally sourced renewables and expand green power access. The webinar explored how outdoor retailer REI and its supply partner Nester Hosiery engaged in a joint power purchase agreement with a recently built solar project in North Carolina. Representatives at REI, Nester Hosiery, and Sol Systems described how the agreement was developed, the evolution of each organization’s green power strategies, challenges faced, and the positive impacts of the agreement on the local community.
