Blueprint for Success: Crafting Compelling Brownfields Job Training Grant Applications (May 5, 2026)
This webinar, hosted and presented by Kansas State University, the Center for Creative Land Recycling and other Technical Assistance to Brownfields providers, highlighted how EPA’s Brownfields Job Training Program enables communities to train unemployed and underemployed residents for careers in environmental cleanup and sustainable land reuse. It provided a practical guide to developing a competitive BFJT application and featured successful grantees sharing best practices on assessing community need, building partnerships, tailoring curricula to brownfields redevelopment and placing graduates in sustainable jobs.
Strategies for Developing Successful Brownfields Job Training Program Curricula (March 18, 2026)
This webinar focused on strategies for developing comprehensive training curriculums that meet local training needs and engage participants. Guest speakers and facilitators shared practical strategies and lessons learned for building and refining training curriculums based on their own program experiences and how to develop sustainable job training programs.
